Psychologist, Media Commentator and Communications Specialist.

Sabina has broad experience in counselling, facilitating, coaching and consulting with organisations, groups, individuals, couples, families, and adolescents. She works with clients in private practice and corporate settings addressing relationship and couple challenges, parenting difficulties, life transitions, and workplace issues, as well as mental health and well-being across the lifespan. She has facilitated groups on topics including mental health, well-being, sleep, change, stress, parenting, family life, grief, and job loss.

Sabina is the Resident Psychologist and Social Commentator on Channel 7’s The Morning Show and the top-rating Afternoons program at Radio 3AW. Together with Dr Michael Carr-Gregg, Sabina co-hosts Good Thinking, on the Talking Lifestyle radio network, broadcast live across Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane. She was an expert on Season 1 of Channel 9’s observational documentary, Married at First Sight, and her expertise and comments are regularly sought in lifestyle, business and women’s media nationally. Sabina is a speaker and MC with leading speakers’ agency, Saxton, and she is listed on the Media Referral expert database with The Australian Psychological Society. She is also a Consultant Psychologist and Coach with Transitioning Well and Corporate Health Management, and Board Member and Ambassador for the Family Peace Foundation.

In addition to her expertise and interest in human behaviour, Sabina is also a communications specialist, with significant experience working in public relations and marketing roles in Melbourne, San Francisco and London. During this time, Sabina worked in both in-house and consulting roles, with a variety of clients across a range of sectors including retail, consumer, telecommunications, health, hospitality, education, the arts, gaming, and professional services.

She navigates the swings and roundabouts of family life with her husband (also Trinity alumnus!), two teenage daughters, two rescue dogs, and regular hits of dark peppermint chocolate.

Ongoing professional development and memberships/affiliations:

Sabina is committed, passionate and curious about her on-going professional and personal development. Recently she has attended training programs and workshops on Gottman Couples Therapy (Levels 1 and 2), mindfulness, anxiety, panic, OCD, phobias, PTSD, sleep, couple counseling, coaching, ACT training, family therapy, and eating disorders.

Education
Sabina holds a Masters in Psychology, a Bachelor of Psychological Science with First Class Honours, a Graduate Diploma in Psychology, and a Bachelor of Arts (Communications).
