Sabina is a psychologist who works with organisations, groups, individuals, couples and families in the areas of relationships, well-being, stress, mental health, career development, leadership, change, life transitions, job loss, and parenting.
Sabina is the Resident Psychologist and Social Commentator on Channel 7’s The Morning Show and The Daily Edition; and the top-rating Afternoons program at Radio 3AW. She was the host and mentor on Dream Job, an original 8-week TV series airing on Channel 9, following 16 Australians on their journey to finding a new career path; was an expert on Season 1 of Channel 9’s observational documentary, Married at First Sight; and her expertise and comments are regularly sought in lifestyle, business and women’s media nationally.
At age 3, Sabina could often be found wandering up to groups of strangers to listen and converse with them. By age 4, if things weren’t going well for herself, or others around her, she was quick to respond with her favourite saying “no mattie!” which meant something like “it doesn’t matter…all will be OK.”
Fast forward 45 years, and today, Sabina is a psychologist, media commentator, speaker and facilitator who works with organisations, groups, individuals, couples and families on relationships, mental health and well-being, career development, leadership, change, life transitions, job loss, parenting, and stress.
Sabina is passionate about the universality of the human experience, believing that we all have more in common than we often realise. In addition to her expertise and interest in human behaviour, Sabina is also a communications specialist, with significant experience working in public relations and marketing roles in Melbourne, San Francisco and London. During this time, Sabina worked in both in-house and consulting roles, with a variety of clients across a range of sectors including retail, consumer, telecommunications, health, hospitality, education, the arts, gaming, and professional services.
Sabina believes karaoke, hugs, beach walks, colourful jewellery, laughter, shimmery eyeshadow, two-legged and four-legged friends help to make the world a better place. She lives in Melbourne where she navigates the swings and roundabouts of life with her husband, two teenage daughters, two rescue dogs, and occasional hits of dark peppermint chocolate (or it’s lowly milk cousin if that’s all she can get her hands on!)
